There is no CD for minecaft, you go to the website and pay a one off price and download it on your computer. the website should have all the system requirements needed to run the game. Its not a graphics hungry game, so should work on most modern systems.

It's still in beta testing (it's still being developed and isn't what the game will be like on full release. There'll be less bugs and more content) It's a download. It's for mac/windows/linux. Soon to be xbox. Just follow tutorials on how to install it after you buy it. It was simple enough for windows and linux for me.
