Why i couldn't run my .java files using Java EE(Enterprise Edition) & Eclipse?

Why i couldn't run my .java files using Java EE(Enterprise Edition) & Eclipse?? I can only run .jsp files using these softwares. I dont get it. Help me please..

it sounds like you have downloaded everything but need to set the paths so that windows knows how to process the .java just do a simple google search for setting environment variables for java, this seems like an okay site to follow: http://www.ics.uci.edu/~thornton/ics22/LabManual/SettingUpJava.html
