They only provide you with space. They do have tools you can use that can help you design your website, but you still have to do it all on your own. The other bad thing is they load it with advertisements and do not pay you any money for having those ads on your website. Free websites are not professional. If you are wanting a website so you can make money or to advertise a business, you'd do better and look more professional with a non-free website. The only alternative I know of is a company that designs your website for you free of charge, and they charge you a small monthly fee. They also help you make money because they share the revenue earned by the ads put onto the website. Basically you just have to advertise the website so people will visit it. you can get .co.nr domain names for free, and borrow a server from a friend or turn an old comp into one. dont use lycos or geocities or anything like that, those wouldnt be your own website. Those sites are owned by a company, and they put ads on the page that you are using, just make your own page in html, xml or whatever.
