If you are just looking to do some scripting for website development, I have always found http://www.w3schools.com/ to be useful. If you are looking to program in say Java, go to http://java.sun.com and check out the tutorial information. I'm sure Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) has similar tutorial documents for .NET, VB, ASP.NET, etc.... If you are looking for C/C++, I've only worked with good old paper books so can't help you there.
