Can I pass Ohio drivers test in a rental car?

  • Answer:

Without a license, no one would let you rent a car. If you borrow, you will still have to have a licensed driver with you, but the owner of the car won't need to be with you. Just me sure you know where the current registration and insurance information is, and that you have practiced enough to be familiar with the borrowed vehicle.

They don't need to be present, no, but you should practice using their car before your test, as each car drives and feels differently. You can't rent a car...you have to be 21 for that and you can't drive it if someone else rents it. Edit: I live in Wisconsin. I took a test with my grandparents' car and they were not there. My mom drove it to the testing station. They did not ask if it was "my" car when I tested.
