How can i put dvds on my ipod?

Can I put my own DVDs on my ipod? If I can, how the heck?

    get a program called (im TOO DVD Ripper Platinum) simple too use and cheap to buy. also something extra because im nice. free music copy the url of a desired youtube video and paste it on the website called vidtomp3.com it strips the video and keeps the sound file. good for live, unplugged. cover versions and that sought of thing.

Yes you can, I found this free software works a treat: http://handbrake.fr/ It removes the copy-protection that is on DVDs as a piracy standard and then saves it as a file which is easy to put on the iPod. Best of luck

I do know u need to convert the files into mp4 to get them to play on ur ipod. but not sure how to transfer dvd files to ur comp! so i;ve starred the question for u coz i want to know too! :)
