I'm in the USA, but there are still 2 different frame rates. To answer your question, it depends on what you're watching. If you watch a lot of sports or fast-moving scenes, that extra 50Hz will make a huge difference. Instead of a fast-moving object being a blur on the screen, it's seen as a single object.
