LG flat tv light flashes constantly?

My LG lcd tv, when plugged in the standby light flashes instead of turning on?

when i plug my tv in, it does not turn on, instead the standby light on the front of the tv flashes as if its coming on and then goes. i have tried plugging it back in many times but ...show more
Answer:

I know that some of the newer model TVs will only flash once plugged in. Give it a few seconds after being pulgged in then touch the power button. It should turn on and stay on. Or if it's like my TV if you don't have an antenna or cable hooked up to it it will just turn off.
