What are some swimming tips?

I have miii period but i want to go swimming any tips on what will happen and whart i need to do??!?

    don't wear a pad in the water- it won't work. ask someone you trust to help you with a tampon.

Sorry, but if you don't want to use a tampon... you should not go swimming under any circumstance. If you were to 'leak' the pool would have to be closed and the pool would have to be shocked with chemicals and be vaccumed. At some pools you could be fined if they found out. Not worth the embarrassment, or the cost involved in case of having to close the pool for some time while it is being cleaned. C. Gayle

i dunno ive never tried it but i wouldnt go swimming wen i had mine cuz i wouldnt use a tampon either. my swim coach said that it was fine, cuz when you go into water for 10 minutes or more, your period stops. ive kinda done that before for swim practice and so far the water has not turned red.

DON'T GO IN THE WATER WITHOUT A TAMPON!! i am a swimmer for high school and that is the only true way you can go swimming while your on your period
