Why does Yahoo Messenger sign me out of Yahoo mail chat?

Every time i sign in with yahoo messenger iam disconnected from yahoo extra mail chat...why?

  • so if i wish to chat with someone and still see him thru the web cam on messenger, is it possible n how does this work..pls help...

    If your talking to your friend on Yahoo messenger from inside of your email , Yes your Yahoo messenger from the outside will close itself down So you may need to chat on Yahoo instant messenger on the outside of your Yahoo email in order to view his webcam , I don't think you can view from using Yahoo messenger that's inside of your Yahoo email
