Is a toyota Mr2 spyder a good car, is it fun, is it hard to find? what are the pros and cons?

I owned one for 3 years, awesome little car. There is room behind the seats for storage. I've had many cars, including a Corvette, and an S2000, but my Spyder was the most reliable, best on gas, and best looking. I had an '01 with tan leather and a tan top. You can pack the front seat and floor when grocery shopping. As long as you're not trying to put kids in it, go for it. They even make a luggage rack for the trunk lid for trips.

as the other answer stated. it is indeed a great car. everything he said is true. but just because its a good car, doesn't mean it will sell good. you have to look at the market and what there is a demand for. i guess when it was discontinued, there wasn't much of a demand for the mr2. even the supra was discontinued before the mr2 and it was an even better, more powerful car with more trunk space and seats. i'd say the main disadvantage of the mr2 is that its only a 2 seater and the lack of a trunk. but if you don't need a trunk and only need 1 or 2 seats, go ahead for the mr2! its a really nice car!!! i sat in a used mr2 spyder convertible at a toyota dealership...man it was really nice. lol my mom's first reaction was "ooooooo, i want you to have this car one day"
