Answer:
If you don't want to receive email from that group, why not set your delivery to "No Email". That's simpler than changing the address and less likely to cause other problems.

The easiest way to stop getting messages is to leave the group. Alternatively, you could go out and live in the woods and become the second unibomber. That would be sick.
