Watch TV, listen to music, read children books (seriously) start hanging out with English speaking people, I've seen a lot of people practically perfect English and the American accent in less then a year. But listening skills? is English harder to pay atention to than your native language? I would think a skilled listener in one language would be just as skilled in another language... given they understand that language.

Your best bet is to find a teacher of ESL (English as a Second Language). You will need to find phonology worksheets online in the meantime, or go to your library and pick up a phonology book. Speaking slowly and deliberately will be a good start if you have no other resources.
