Can a mazda3 handle offroad camping conditions?

    Yes, any car could handle gravel/grassy roads. I have a 96 Mazda Protege and I was a delivery driver too. Let me tell you some history first. I bought the car with 120,000 miles for $1900 7 years ago. Since then, it has been involved in a police chase, rear ended by an SUV at 20+mph (Hit and Run), driven like there is no tomorrow, red-lined every day, tossed around the cones, driven off road on grass, gravel when I went camping, up on side walks, and more. Then 2 years ago, I got a job at Domino's pizza driving about 100 miles per day in a college town working 10-12 hour shifts, 3-4 days per week. My car has no problem with the abuse I gave it. I just drive it to work today. It is still my daily driver and my first car from high school 7 years ago. I am surprised it is still alive after what it has been through. Now, the Altima/Camry is largest and hardest to park so cross that off your list. The Elantra or Mazda 3 are best for delivery since they are easy to park, small, good on gas, cheap on insurance, and cheap to repair. The Elantra offers a smoother quieter ride while the Mazda 3 offers sharper handling and a sportier noise.

yea a Mazda 3 can do it no problem. I've driven my mazda6 hard like the other answerer asid and have had 0 problems. The Mazda will be a great choice. I currently have 100,651 miles on my 6
