How to write a short suspense story?

Please help me with some ideas for my short story?

    How about pirates, or just plain strange, like you know: I was riding my bike as fast as I possibly could away from (enter place here) I remembered the road and which fork to take SHARP RIGHT! FLASH!... Oh no, I was in the room again! He was comming, now what, no way out, no way to fight back, CREAK NO NO NO! He's at the door, how oh how did I get out the first time!!!! BANG, AHHHHHHHHH WOOSH...... Where am I... concrete walls. Naked bulb hanging from the celing. OW!!! what! I can't get up?! My ankle hurts like I have a blowtorch on it OW! What is going on in this place? BANG, oh no FLASH... Where am I this time? wow I just came up with that... anyway feel free to use it, but I think I might use it too lol.

well i think robbery and things like this are too old,just creat sumthing new. like for example write about the childrens fear of darkness.you can start like this "every night i went to my bedroom to sleep,after turnning off the light, i'd hear some strange noises from my closet..." and then you can simply imagine a monster in the closet which every night comes out and take the eyes of the kids ,who haven't slept till late, out.this way you can write a story about childrens imagination of darkness. does that help?
