Can a Nigeria's citizen, not UK resident hold an account?

I am a Nigeria's citizen, living in Nigeria; but want to have an account and operate an account online with your bank.

Nigerian citizens living in Nigeria are expected to operate pounds sterling account as domiciliary accounts with licensed banks operating in Nigeria. Nigerians living in Nigeria cannot provide proof of UK address, photo IDs, residence permits, social security number and other KYC documents which are required to run accounts in the UK. Online accounts can be run by British citizens living in the UK or who are expatriates in other countries, or other nationals living in the UK as permanent residents. If your intention is to have accounts to transact businesses in foreign currencies, you may open domiciliary accounts with Nigerian banks of your choice.
