  • Answer:

I would tell you that you might as well join the club. In school years, some children make fun of other children because they have their own issues. But, if it is any help to you, many kids go through this kind of thing. Students make fun of anyone who is different, be it fat, pimpled, wears glasses, does poorly in school, is poor, doesn't wear brand name clothes etc. Don't take this teasing to heart. It comes from people who aren't confident within themselves and who are very immature. I know at your age you judge yourself on what others think of you, but you are a worthwhile person, worthy of respect. Just keep that in mind through the hard times because this to shall pass. People who judge other people on superficialities aren't worth losing your self-esteem over. And not EVERYBODY does this. You will find decent friends at some point in your life. By the time you are 30, you will look back and laugh.

Get a tutor or try some math books at the 99 cent store! Maybe get a game for math look for some on line and get better! My son was that way and now he is great at math!

When I was in school I had a very difficult time with English. I could not write a simple sentence and as a result I hated English with fierce passion. My classmates and teachers thought that I was a stupid *ss because of it. I since worked on my English and learned to pay assholes like them no mind. BTW, I went to my 20th class reunion last year where I had the pleasure of waving my career portfolio and college degrees right in their faces laughing the whole time.

What disability? Do you have a disability? (Learning Disability, Mental Retardation, Physical Disability, Dyslexia, Health Impairment) If you don't have a disability then your friends should make fun of you. What doesn't kill you makes your stronger. At some point in your life you will probably need math skills higher than the 8th grade. If you have a true disability. You need to learn how to make others aware of your disability. You need to play to your strengths to try and cope with your disability.
