Texas State is perfect for non-traditional students like yourself. In fact, there is an organization (called the NTSO or "Non-Traditional Students Organization" that caters for just such a demographic. I should know, because I too was a non-traditional student while at Texas State. Check it out: http://www.lbjsc.txstate.edu/ntso/ Very best of luck.
