the first thing to selling anything in Singapore is RELATIONSHIP. Building relationship with clients is the single and most important thing to closing a sale.

A great salesman doesn't close sales, his customers ask to buy. As strange as this may sound it’s the truth, there is no need to lie, cheat, steal, or manipulate. There is a VERY simple formula that I have used for years and has never let me down. 1. Know your product. Although you might be able to squeak through it, your client/customer will know what’s up. 2. Ask questions. I am not referring to the questions that relate to brand, budget, and style. You need to know what the client/customers lifestyle is. Who is using it? What is it being used for? How often? Etc 3. Show the customer a product that you know will work for them (don't be afraid to show them something slightly better than what they need, but never less) 4. Relate the product back to the needs... "You said you needed this, that’s why this has this" 5. Ask if you have addressed all of their concerns and answered all their questions. If you do that nine times out of ten they will ask you what the next step is or sell you to write it up. Hope that helps
