What is a real friendship about in your opinion? What "qualities" should a real friend have?

1. Someone honest. You need to be able to trust your friends. 2. Loyal 3. Kind 4. Considerate 5. Sensitive to the other persons thoughts and feelings 6. Reliable Lots more but those are the most important points in my opinion. Friendship is about give and take and good communication. It is about being there for one another and sharing the good and bad times. It is about accepting the other person warts and all and still loving them.

to me a friend will give you their umbrella in the rain, but a real friend will steal yours and shout, "run, ***** run", y'ano they have a laugh and insult you you but in a friendly kind of way. but also they will always be there for you, they are the ones that are prepared to miss something good to go to the store and buy you ice-cream or chocolates when your feeling down. They won't talk about you to other people, yeah it might seem childish but that happens with adults too. Also a good friend would never lie to you unless they were planning a surprise for you. You have to be able to trust them, be able to talk to them about anything, and also ask yourself if you would stand in front of a bullet for them if the answer is yes then you have your answer .

A true friend is commonly mistaken as someone who likes the things that are great about you... Actually a true friend is someone who forgives your mistakes and likes you despite your faults.

weird and appropriately timed q michele for me right now im having friend 'issues' for me, its got to be their 'attention' their 'chat' communcation,time, if you dont communcate with me, then i dont know how i can see you as a friend, a friendship is made of peopel getting to know each other, not just saying im your friend and sending a card at xmas and bdays as i said, issuuuusssss ;-D also trustworthy of course there for you when they can be, when you need them forgiving , but know when the line is and of course effort to see you, talk to you, be with you, be your friend if there is no effort, then theres no real friendship

a friend will be someone who supports you who helps you makes you laught when your sad and is always around when you need them and is always happy for you
