The bad areas and the good areas to live in Las Vegas?

    Good: NW Las Vegas, Centennial, Aliante, Summerlin and Henderson is really close by and a nice area. Bad (Really Bad): North (except NW) and Central. Don't live on an alphabet street, like H street or D street. That's all slums and ghetto. Central LV (Naked City) is behind the strip and it's all old construction and a lot of drugs. I live here ONLY because it's close to my work. SE is okay. If you don't have a car, you should definitely live where you only need to take 1 bus. The bus system here sucks!

Henderson, NV You don't say if its an apt or not! Green Valley, NV inbetween Las vegas, and Henderson.

That was my final Answer.

North, NE, East is generally not a great area. Anything close to the strip is not good. The rule of thumb is get as far away from the strip as possible and outside the 215 or close to it.
