Em no....the remote wire is there to power up the amp only when the head unit is turned on. If you wire it straight into the loom how you gonna turn it off?? Just run a wire from the amp to the head unit. You can bridge the remote into the 12 volt input next to it on the amp but this will keep it powered up all the time unless you have it running a seperate on/off switch.
