What is the baggage allowance for my connecting flights?

Do I have the same weight allowance on connecting flights? Do I get my bags when getting a connecting flight?

    The best thing to do is call the airline that you check in with the first time, if you bought the ticket through one airline and they use another then there might be a different weight allowance if they are not codeshare partners. I used to travel with Continental and American Airlines and my connecting flight was with Brtish Airways, their baggage allowance allowed two 70-pound bags so I only had to pay the fee for the first leg of the trip.

You will get the international luggage deal when flying back to London from LA as long as you ordered the tickets as one and not seperately. The connecting flight from chicago to London does not make you recheck your bags in chicago because you will still be flying with in the U.S (LA to chicago), however you did say the next day so depending on how long your wait is you might wanna check with the airline to make sure. I waited in the airport for 7 hours one time and i didnt have to recheck my luggage.
