Why does Yahoo Mail freeze my Safari browser when I try to attach a document to an email?

The exact thing started happening to me last week too! It happens on my iMac. I have to force quite Safari because it freezes the whole thing. Anyone have the answer?

Mine has the exact same problem, started last week. I contacted apple support who said i must contact yahoo, who hasn't responded. ???
