Whenever I opened any of my new and old emails, the screen is blank?

I delete emails in the summary list of emails in the Inbox. I refresh the screen and the same emails reappear?

I have four emails that are dated from October of 2012. I keep trying to delete them but they keep reappearing in my inbox. Three of them have been opened one has not. I do not need them. HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM?
