If there is ever a doubt about it, do not use it. Ignore it and go on with what you were doing. Yahoo would never ask you for your personal information. There are a lot of "it looks like Yahoo" out there, trying to get your info. So be careful.

If they are soliciting like your user name and password or credit records then it's not legit, Yahoo never asks for such sort of info via e-mail.
