How and why does a yahoo account get suspended? ?

There are many rules and people interpret it in many different ways so a person might report something that breaks a rule. You are safe if you don't say highly offensive things. Also, I didn't need any smart *** comments on my question. I asked about a hypothetical guy. There is no need to assume who this guy is. I should have said "me" instead of "a guy." Sorry for the confusion but if you were talking to me then I would like your answer so in that respect - thank you

I have had an account suspended. I have no idea why unless as others say it's just someone who does not like you for some reason and reports your questions and answers. I had reached level 7 with no problems and suddenly every couple of days I was getting violation notices. Reason was not a question or answer even though it was. I appealed won some lost some and eventually was suspended. If as many say it's jealousy that's kinda sad cos you cannot buy anything with the points on here. Still not to worry you can always start a new account and try again.

for almost four years of using yahoo mail i have not experience that incident. but the problem i encountered is my yahoo messenger. i can not open it telling me of low virtual memory. how can that happen, i am using a 512MB RAM. could it be possible that my account has been suspended due to report of third party. if that's the case, I think i should be informed of my violation. i love yahoo messenger. please help me fix it. thank you...
