Why can I not compose new mail?

I have a new yahoo account and when I click on compose mail nothing happens

The only thing I can figure is the mouse isn't over the letters right so the pencil in the square lights up. Try exiting mail and starting it again or your browser. Maybe the site or your browser was tied/locked up or something.
