This has been happening for some time now, Yahoo are working on it they say but for now try this.Recommended fixes for the many current problems include Update Adobe Flash Player Internet Explorer and Java script . Clear Explorer cache, cookies, and browsing history. Some find that a return to classic mail improves things. You could also try an alternative browser. Hope this helps

the problem is not unique to you. and not unique in yahoo mail it happened in my facebook also. but you can try logging in on a different computer, or logged in the next day. Because sometimes it happens sometimes it does not. The problem had been there since the flood in Manila.

Yahoo mail is just crap, I gave up on it, especially when they don't even reply to requests for help. My problem is I don't receive emails friends say they get failed to send messages, only mail I get in it is from yahoo answers as nobody else can mail me. I've mailed yahoo numerous times aout this with no response so I'm just sticking with my hotmail account. As for your problem yahoo can just be a pain to log into, and recovering paswords or user names can be next to impossible in some circumstances. My suggestion? make a new account, or get rid of yahoo mail altogether and try a different email provider. A lot of Yahoo's stuff is good, like their Instant Messenger, but the email service sucks and hard.
