American accent in England / English accent in America?

Not generally, as far as actually saying they LIKE the accent, though some do like some American accents. The US has a vast array of accents. Although England itself is rather small compared to most states in the United States, England ALSO has a vast array of accents for its size. SOME American accents sound so similar to the English listener that the accent alone might not even be detected by the listener (and the same is true of an American hearing some English accents). Interestingly, in the movie "Big Nothing", two of the actors are English, but do American accents in the movie. Of course, there's the "cockney" accent, which most people (English people, any road) DON'T like.

Im from England, and although i dont mind the american accent, I think most people here generally find it quite whiney and annoying. Although some people do like it, it also depends on the type of american accent.

Which American accent? There are so many, and some are attractive and some are grating. Same for English accents.

just to let you know not even 1 or 2% of the british population have a posh accent the two accent arent complety different
