Who here has been on the Holy Land Cruise?

Has any one on here done the holy land cruise?

  Well, Kinda. I have cruised to most of the ports on the Holy land cruise except Israel. Yes I have cruised to Kusadasi,Turkey for a visit to Ephesus. That was a great port stop. I have been to Egypt and visited the Giza Pyramids and Cairo, Egypt. That's a great trip/tour also but is a long day because the cruise ship docks in Alexandria which is about a 2 hour bus ride from Cairo. I have been to Athens and visited the Biblical city of Corinth. That was a nice trip also, not too far from Athens' port. Yes I would recommend a cruise there but bear in mind that there are things going on there that could affect your trip. If there are dangers when you trip comes up the cruise line will skip that port stop. So you do take a chance that if things are going on in that country you may miss it. But regardless, you'll still have a great cruise. I am contemplating a Holy Land cruise for this October but can't yet find a airfare that is reasonable.
