What's the best cruise ship to take to Alaska?

I think Princess does Alaska just as well as HAL. The tie breaker may be that Princess gets the cruise award for multigenerational groups a lot. Families with a variety of ages can't go wrong with Princess.

HAL is great. The others tend to be over crowded. HAL is the most efficient with their side trips. The food and service are terrific. Have made the Alaska trip on HAL......we had a great time! We book on their website. We also booked our side trips before we left and so didn't have to wait in lines to sign up on the ship. We even have booked our airfare through them and that has made sure we got to the ship on time! Whatever line you choose, I hope your family has a great time. Cruising Alaska is so very beautiful!
