Carnival Glory or Carnival Pride?

I've been on both of these ships..... the Carnival Pride is by far the better ship. I can't say enough about the Carnival Pride. It runs circles around the Glory. One thing to watch out for..... avoid category 7A balcony rooms - they have a lifeboat in front of the balcony which obstructs your view. Given the choice between a free cruise on the Glory or a reduced rate on the Pride, I would pay the reduced rate and go on the Pride. If you've never been on a cruise, you won't know the difference. If you cruise on the Pride.... and then on the Glory.... you would go back to the Pride for your third cruise. The two-story disco is awesome!

Glory The 110,000-ton Carnival Glory is an immense floating resort with large-scale amenities. You'll find a sprawling 15,000-square-foot health and beauty center on the Spa Deck, complete with Serenity adults-only retreat, fitness areas, sauna and steam rooms, and salon. Pride With its impressive world art motif throughout the ship, including a towering, red glass-domed Renaissance atrium, you'll be inspired by sights inside and out. During the day, try your luck at the Winner's Club Casino, get pampered at The Body Beautiful Spa, work out and play on the upper decks or escape to the Swedish-styled Nobel Library for some quiet time. Gastronomic options run the gamut from seated dining to bistro-style, casual meals to an elegant night at the reservations-only supper club, David's. Top off the night with dancing at Starry Night, glamorous entertainment in the Taj Mahal, or relax in one of the numerous lounges, like the pagoda-themed Ivory Bar. With Camp Carnival's Children's World and the Fun Club, younger passengers are never left out of the action. I suggest going on the Glory. She is a conquest class ship.
