  I've been on that ship before, when I treated my mother to her first cruise. We sailed from Long Beach to Catalina Island, then down to Ensenada, and back to Long Beach. It was an enjoyable cruise. The Carnival Paradise is a smaller ship compared to a lot of the other ones out there, but it's still plenty big. The food was plentiful and decent, the shows were good; especially the comedian. There are plenty of bars on the ship, and they have a few dance clubs. There were people of all ages on board, most of them being college kids or families with young children. And yes, there were plenty of teenagers on board too. This ship doesn't exactly sail to the most exotic or beatiful places. Catalina is really nice, but Ensenda is really nothing to write home about. This particular cruise is great for first timers, or for people who are on a tight budget, or for someone looking for a weekend getaway. It attracts a younger, party-type crowd. Please don't worry about whether or not there will be other people your age on board. I would encourage you to be the kind of person who can make your own fun, and not be dependant on other people to entertain you. If you go with the attitude that you are going to have a great time no matter what, I'm sure you will enjoy the cruise. Happy sailing!
