  Please don't pay money to go to any Flight Attendant schools. These are basically just rip-off schemes and could actually *hurt* your chances of being hired by a major airline. What happens is that the airline first picks you for training and then sends you to their facility to learn to do things exactly how they want them to be done. Being a Flight Attendant is not brain surgery so it's basically learnable if you have a brain and are motivated. The airlines actually don't need you to know the job in advance. They are looking for other qualities, such as your skills dealing with people or languages you speak. I will mention, as a side note that there are F/A training schools for small and regional airlines. These airlines don't have their own facilities so work with a school once they select the candidates. Again though, it's the same story. First the airline has to pick you and then you are sent there. Instead of wasting money on a silly F/A school, your time would be better spent doing a language course. You might actually be too young to be hired anyway so if you are looking to work in the meantime, try to pick jobs where you have a lot of "public contact" and possibly jobs involving food. I was never a waitress though I did work in cafes. Having recommendations with similar work really helped. Doing anything tourism-related like hotels or information would be great too. Just make sure the job involves dealing with people, not just cleaning or behind-the-scenes work. Good luck!
