What can I take on a plane and what can't I?

Ive never been on plane. Do they strip search? What happens b4 you get on? what can/cant take? pills?

  First, don't get yourself stressed out. Many people have a fear of flying, but it is largely unfounded because the chances of dying in a car FAR outweigh the chances of flying in a plane. Second, arrive at the airport with plenty of time to check in, go through security, and find your gate. Airport personnel can always answer your questions about where to go. If you are checking luggage, bring some toothpaste (no more than 3 oz with the new FFA rules), a toothbrush, any medications you are taking, and a change of clothes in your carry-on. You never know if your plane might be delayed or if something else might come up and you would be stuck without your belongings. I always bring a few snacks too just in case I'm stuck on the plane... it has come in handy a few times we were waiting on the runway for hours! Also, take pictures of any luggage you are checking and keep them in your carry-on. If they lose your luggage, it is easier and faster to find it this way. Also, luggage tags often fall off. Always include an index card with your name, phone number, and address on the INSIDE of your checked luggage just in case. Finally, ALWAYS check the pocket of the seat in front of you before you leave the plane. Good luck and happy flying
