What do you Think happened on Air France Flight 447?

Im not sure. But i'd guess technical problems. Short circuit. Thunderstorms, winds. Etc.. Someone i know died on that plane. He was a classmate of mine. RIP. x

I think it is too early still to tell what happened. We can all speculate what happened such as turbulence bringing down the aircraft but until the black box and flight data recorder are found, it will be difficult to know exactly what happened. It sounded as though something catastrophic happened since the flight did not send out a mayday signal. Maybe the crew did not have a chance to send out a signal because it happened so quickly.

At first I thought that it may have been a sign of a terrorist attack that was going to happen somewhere in Brazil. Then I just thought it may have crashed. I wouldn't be to surprised if you get an answer on here that says they were abducted.

They were carrying a secret time travel device for the U.S. government on board. I'm sure they've scattered debris around to divert every ones attention as to what really happened. Just kidding but you know **** happens. From what I can ascertain most commercial jets in service have a mechanical linkage to things like wing flaps and the rudder. This was a modern plane that had electronic controls so when the pilots input a command an electronic signal is sent to that particular piece of equipment. They got a message of an electrical failure just before it went down so If that's the case there was absolutely nothing the pilots could have done to control the jet. Sort of like when a computer crashes, it's not supposed to happen but sometimes it just does, only this time it had disastrous consequences. A lot of people are claiming a terrorist attack but that doesn't add up. Some group would have claimed responsibility already. People have to know that it was a terrorist attack in order for terrorism to work!

Terrorism. Take a look at the passenger manifest that was recently published. Virtually a who's who of corporate heads and politicos. That, coupled with the TAM flight's pilot observing fire in the ocean along Air France 447's route further supports my suspicion. Today's aircraft are virtually impossible to bring down via lighting strike. It's not uncommon for a plane in the International Convergence Zone to be struck by lighting upwards of 100 times within 1 hour. Rather, this would be the norm, and insufficient to down a jetliner. So there you have it: Terrorism.

A combination of many things. The storm, some human error and some other things.. It is so sad though! They might not even be able to recover the black box because the ocean is way too deep at the site of the crash..

The Flight has crashed in the Atlantic Ocean based on the reports given by the airline.....I don't think so there is any possibility of the flight being Hijacked as the Minister of France has ruled out the fact...... Check here for details : http://pendownhappenin.blogspot.com/
