  anywhere. but you should ask yourself why do you want to learn TKD. If you are looking to compete in point sparring competitions otherwise known as "tag" then look for any place. If you are looking to learn to fight, then I suggest maybe finding another art. If it exists, I'm sure you could find a TKD school that is legitimately teaching you to fight in Manhattan (your chances are high here if it exists). Most schools teach you tip-tap point sparring, and the training revolves around tournament rules leaving gaps in the training that are impractical in a real fight. Such as no punching the face, no kicking the supporting leg, etc. And they also don't show combo type of attacks where you either counterpunch or press an attack hitting an opponent multiple times. If you are looking to use TKD to fight, I suggest you make sure a school teaches like this. The sparring should not stop after someone lands a hit, but continue.
