What are the football positions?

What are all the football positions, an what do they do?

  • i'm doing an assignment for school and i need to know what all the football positions are what they do in those positions? please help :)

    Which Football? GK - Protects the goal. FB - Protects wings from wingers in defence. CB - Central defenders protecting the penalty area. SW - Deep CB. Rarely used. DM - Defensive mid that acts between defence and midfield. CM - General central midfielder that attack and defend. AM - Attacking Mid that acts between midfield and fowards. WG - Wingers down the sides that attack FB and puts in crosses to forwards. F - Forward used to get goals. Operates further back then striker. S - Striker that usually plays around oppponents penalty area. Does that help?
