  • Answer:

-hoofpick -soft brush -dandy brush -curry comb -mane and tail comb -leg wraps -first aid kit -shampoo -sponges -sweat scraper -buckets -saddle ($150+) -bridle -bit -reins -saddle pad -blanket -fly mask -fly sheets (optional) -feed -hay -shavings -stall mats -board/stable -halter -lead rope Prices vary depending on what type of quality you want everything in. I would recomend horse.com to get grooming supplies and talking to your trainer to find the right saddle and bridle at the right price. Used items can sometimes be better when it comes to tack because they will already be broken in.

okay. . . i should really save this list b/c everyone askes it and i guess it is important to know. 1. brushes/grooming kit-tween 30-45 bucks.(just go buy a kit and save the time of collecting all the different grooming supplies) 2. saddle pad (2 is better then 1 for cleaning reasons) anyway about 25 dollars each. 3. saddle-500 for a good used one min. . . mine was 800 and has lasted me 12 + years. 4. girth- 40-50 sum bucks depending how big it needs to be. 5. bridle-50-99 bucks for basic. 6. bit- 25 bucks at least (dont buy used, only new) 7. halter/lead line-30 bucks, buy at least 2 lead lines. . . you'll find out why later. 8. salt block-depends on size 9.first aid kit 10.vet wrap-2 bucks 11. blanket- cooling- 40 bucks, winter-100 at least 12. boots- jumping-at least 40 bucks. i know that's not everything, but that's all i can think of atm. . . i'm alittle stressed over something else atm. . . good luck

I ride Western and don't know much about English but you will definitely need: Grooming Supplies, Fly Spray and Mask, Lead Ropes, Halters, Dewormer. And really I don't know much else. Good Luck! :]

Hey, I hope you and your new horse have lots of good times! I've been riding for 3-4 years. Heres some of the stuff you need, you can add other stuff such as toys, and treats. Hay-Depending on the horse you'll need either Alfalfa, Grass, or a mix of both. 7.00 and up, depends on where your located, and what season it is. Water Trough-These can be found all over, and are in different sizes, but I would pay $50 and up for a big one Halter- These can be found in several different kinds, and they can be as low as free to expensive as $20 I use rope halters, they work great and are VERY flexible so they tie easy Lead rope: These also go from $2-$10 depends on the brand, and type of rope, I like the softer ropes, but when a horse drags it through manure, it's disgusting, so you may want a harder rope, but those give rope burn easy. Brushes Curry Comb Brush Face Brush Hoof pick Comb/ mane-tail brush Shedding comb These all range in price, I bet from 1-15 dollars, I buy from Feed stores Grain- Grain is good for your horse, but isn't nessicary, since corn is demolishing we're getting hit with the price of grain. I also supplement a little bit of Corn oil, to help their coats. Bridal- Ask the owner what bridal they use on their horse, and what they reccomend Saddle- Go to a feed store or a tack store, and ask them to help find a saddle that fits Pads/ Blankets- Again this depends on the saddle Straw/Bedding if a stable horse. This is really all I can think of! Sorry! =(
