What is a Medical Pegboard and how hard is it to learn?

I have many websites ideas but I don't know how to program. Given that I'm ready to learn any language (be it hard or easy), what are the best languages to learn to create a decent website (with sophisticated features like geotagging, social networking, ranking/likes system..etc?

    Given that you are ready to learn any language, allow me to extend Amit Choubey excellent answer. You have to: Start getting comfortable with HTML/CSS Learn the absolute basics of PHP and dive into Wordpress. There are plenty other Content Management Systems (CMS), but trust me, Wordpress is the way to go, because Google loves it, and that is all that really matters. Get used to jQuery. That's a great Javascript library which helps you manipulate the DOM (Document Object Model, everything you see in the browser) Continue with using CSS and Javascript frameworks like Zurb Foundation or Twitter Bootstrap to be able to quickly produce mobile friendly websites. Look into LESS and SASS to preprocess your CSS and be able to save a lot of time, by using variables and mixins. Optimize your workflow using Yeoman, Grunt and Bower. Then integrate your knowledge back to Wordpress and you are done. Of course this is only the technical point of view, and there is plenty of material that is actually important for a website, that I did not cover here. Like: How to increase targeted traffic How to optimize the conversion rate on a website How to optimize for search engines And when you have done that, you will sometimes find yourself in a spot, where the websites functionality isn't covered by the CMS and what you really need is to programm it from scratch. For making a website,you should learn html and css first. Then jump to Javascript and Jquery for client side scripting. Learn html and css and then make a website in a CMS like wordpress. Practice code in codeacademy for html and css.Stay away from http://w3schools.com. To kick start I would suggest you to learn html and css from Tutsplus free course. Tutusplus - 30 days to learn html and css . Remember Google is your friend.

You have a great advantage. You already know what you want to build. Here is my advise. Just dig in. Start on the outside. This will be HTML/CSS. Learn as you go. Take a section of the site you want to build. The landing page for example. And start Googling until you learn enough to do what you need, and then move on to the next thing. The curiosity will start to take over as you learn more. Nothing beats learning by doing. Good Luck!
