What work has the United Nations done?

First of we aren't here to help you with your homework. Go do your own research. But, the main thing is they "United the Nations (world)". More or less, anyway. They made an organized system of foreign policy, international laws, and a way to talk to the world. They have hundreds of depts. and agencies doing all sorts of things, including those that you mentioned. They also have UN peacekeepers, who keep peace, and are stationed across the world: Africa, Kashmir (Due to tensions), Afghanistan,etc.
