You can always try any kind of mental health facilities, Doctors offices, any places that have free services to the public for things, since they are government funded they depend on donations for reading materials in their offices for people and it is a nice way to clean out the clutter as well and make someone elses day.

Take them to your local library. Some libraries will sell them for like 10 or 20 cents each if they have an area where they sell used books. Others will put them out in an area where anyone can take any of the books or magazines there for free.

Try giving them to a local boys & girls club. They can use them for "cut and paste" projects. They can also be taken to places with thrift shops for resale. My last suggestion would be to area jails or detention centers. A word of caution: be certain to remove your name and address from anything being donated. Also, not all publications are appropriate for all places, so before donating consider any restrictions and inquire as to what they might be. My suggestions require more work than just sending them to a recycle center, but there is more reward in allowing someone else to benefit from them than from them just being ground into pulp at a recycle center. Good luck finding an outlet that pleases you.

go to www.earth911.org type in your zip and what you want to recycle you'll get a list of local recycle centers.

if you are in school put them in the recycling program. If not sorry bro

take them to almost any hospital...they put them in all the family waiting areas and whatnot. also, depending on the nature of the magazines, some schools like to use them for projects.

looks like there are plenty of places near you. click link below. some recyclers specialize and/or charge a fee. there are surely free places, as well. that first place looks pretty good.
