How can we stop pollution?

Can we all become a communitie and stop global warming and pollution?

  • can we all become a communitie and stop pollution?i want to know how can we stop pollution?what will happen if we do not avoid it?

  • Answer:

Well I don't need to explain why global warming was so obviously a political yank, rather than actual science - the poster above handled that quite nicely. But pollution is a problem - and there are numerous groups trying to get something done about many different forms of it. Unfortunately, many of them got tangled up in the AGW garbage and have either lost credability because of it, or completely lost sight of the actual pollution that drew them together to make a difference in the first place.

Your question is rather naive (I am guessing you are young, which would make sense). First of all, even if we did everything the Warmers demand, they even admit we would have no measurable effect on climate. Thus, why spend the money needlessly, when we could use it to adapt to our changing environment (like we have done for thousands of years). Also, in regards to pollution, asking how we can stop pollution is even more naive. We can never stop "pollution" as it is defined. Every campfire, coal plant, car, person living creates pollution in one form or another. The best way to control pollution is to promote capitalism and advancing civilization. More advanced societies are much cleaner than the poorer nations. We are able to use or prosperity to promote cleaner technology while poorer nations strive only to survive. I am sure as you get older, you will also come to understand these basic concepts. Start reading about the benefits of a capitalist society, and you will be light years ahead of your peers.

First we have to know what a "communitie" is.

No. We need to search for the truth based upon DATA, not feelings. There are a lot of people who have the wrong impression of our environment. Not doubt the fault of the MSM and crunchy advocacy groups that make a fine living off this stuff. Since the first earth day in 1980 we have been cleaning up the soil, water, and air. Is it perfect no. But we are making progess. The EPA shows all levels of pollutants have been reduced. http://www.epa.gov/tri/tridata/tri07/pdr%E2%80%A6 Here are a couple of misconception about the environment. The Politics of Recycling NJ has the the highest population density in the US, so more recycled material can be collected per square mile than anywhere else in the US. Here is the conclusion of the Princeton University study: Mandatory recycling WASTES RESOURCES instead of saving them. http://www.cato.org/pubs/pas/pa-202.html (This quote is in "The Politics of Recycling" paragraph just above Table 4) WINDMILLS http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article%E2%80%A6 UK -Wind power is a complete disaster, Michael J. Trebilcock, Financial Post No evidence that industrial wind power is likely to have a significant impact on carbon emissions http://pugwashwindfarm.blogspot.com/2009%E2%80%A6 Toronto - Possible adverse health effects, such as sleep deprivation and cardiac arrhythmia http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/20%E2%80%A6 France - "Useless, costly, harmful" http://www.wind-watch.org/pix/displayima%E2%80%A6 CO2 is used as fertilizer in Greenhouses The typical outdoor air we breathe contains 0.03 - 0.045% CO2. Research demonstrates that optimum growth and production for most plants occur between 1200 - 1500 ppm CO2. These optimum CO2 levels can boost plant metabolism, growth and yield by 25 - 60%. http://www.planetnatural.com/site/xdpy/k%E2%80%A6 Plants can absorb and process very large amounts of CO2. http://www.simplyhydro.com/using_co2.htm So the more CO2 the more the plants will grow. So they will use up even more CO2 and grow more. It seems like this would be great from crops and trees. So what is bad about having more CO2 in the atmosphere if it will be USED BY PLANTS?

not to be rude.. but have you or anyone else that will read this think about what the world has been doing since the last ice age?? the world has been getting warmer.. the earths temp. will cycle and continue to do so.. maybe humans contribute to the effects of the warming.. but the earth will continue to get warmer with or without us.. you would think that the human race would see this and adjust instead of trying to fight something that cannot be changed..who knows maybe overall man has prolonged the global warming effect that we are seeing now.. or have we increased it??

Bifurcated question. Can we all become a community? First we must unite our home community. I live in an area where people of color are not acceptable to the whites. It's not the world. It is a small community. If a community cannot accept latinos, Afros, orientals, how can the world do so? Can we stop global climate changes (warming, or, cooling)? Absolutely not. Nature controls that, and, it is FAR more powerful than puny man. Man is NOT omnipotent, as we would like to believe.
