Proof of a theory? That must be a pretty sad website you found to actually post something like that- they musts have no knowledge of the scientific process.

That is like demanding proof of a black hole in the middle of our galaxy. There is a lot of evidence, but where is the proof? Some issues are so complex proof is impossible, take 9/11 for instance, so much evidence but no proof of completely different story than what has been told.

Because there are always some "skeptics". But every major scientific organization in the US, and most in the world, has issued an official statement that warming is real, and mostly caused by us. Not one has ever retracted that statement, most have steadily strengthened them. Here's the American Geophysical Union: "The Earth's climate is now clearly out of balance and is warming. Many components of the climate system--including the temperatures of the atmosphere, land and ocean, the extent of sea ice and mountain glaciers, the sea level, the distribution of precipitation, and the length of seasons--are now changing at rates and in patterns that are not natural and are best explained by the increased atmospheric abundances of greenhouse gases and aerosols generated by human activity during the 20th century." http://www.agu.org/sci_pol/positions/climate_change2008.shtml The AGU has tens of thousands of members. Letters from a relatively few scientists simply don't stack up against all the statements from the scientific groups of many thousands.
