Wildlife conservationist?

With my degree, would I be able to become a wildlife conservationist?

  • If I get an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Science with an emphasis on Animal Science, would I be able to become a wildlife conservationist if I go to college for wildlife ...show more

  • Answer:

Although your undergraduate is not directly in conservation you'll find that the basis of science you covered will fit perfectly into wildlife management. You'll also find that a lot of the time just having a degree is all that is required. Get involved with a local practical conservation charity (try BTCV.org if you're in the UK) and just get a feeling of the different opportunities and then go for it. Good luck.
