What is the Vans Warped tour experience like?

i've been attending warped tour every year since '04 and i can guarantee you its not like any other show you will ever go to it is the most fun you will have all summer i usually get there at 7 AM to wait in line and dont leave until anywhere from 7PM to 9PM so be prepared to be there all day bring the essentials: sunscreen money camera sharpie/paper - schedule tickets - of course, wouldnt believe how many people forget it & a good backpack to put it all in youre going to end up spending alot on merch,water, and food because most venues dont allow outside water or food and once you get inside and realize not only do bands have merch tables, but so do clothing lines, music stores, magazines, books, etc theres so much to see and do you will feel like youre not going to see it all but if you manage your time wisely you will get to see and experience it all and you get a ton of free stuff ive gotten stuff from flyers to flip flops to wallets to magazines to clothing and on and on and on and there will be people trying to get you to buy their cd just give it a listen and tell em you will check em out online if you dont want to buy it trust me plenty of other kids are in line waiting to buy it and it gets stupid hot the sun follows the warped tour you could be sitting in the shade soaked to the bone but still be hot its part of warped tour and make sure to dress as comfortable as possible it is best to wear gym shoes because the pits get rough and youll lose your flip flops so just wear gym/tennis shoes and short and tank top is your best bet dont bother to do hair or makeup it will only annoy you and look sloppy even though it sounds like a lot of work and miserable you spend the entire day listening to music, getting free stuff, and having fun :)
