    Amy Lee of Evanescence has a rather low voice, but she can hit high notes. Most of the songs are not upbeat, but some of the songs have a rock beat, and are somewhat upbeat. The most upbeat songs would probably have to be Going Under, Bring Me To Life, and maybe Everybody's Fool. Trust me, those songs will sound a little upbeat after you listen to one of their other songs, such as My Immortal.
