What's your Thanksgiving Dinner like?

Whats at a traditional thanksgiving dinner?

Turkey (ham is more of a Christmas thing), Yams, Stuffing or dressing (they're basically the same thing), sweet potatoes or regular mashed potatoes, green beans (my family makes baked beans), pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce (yuck), rolls. That's very traditional. My family makes: Turkey, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, baked beans, chess bars (you might not know what that is), pumpkin pie,butter finger cake, potato salad, rolls, dressing. That's usually what we make. Have fun celebrating! :)

We had our Thanksgiving dinner Sunday and we had turkey, ham, candied sweet potatoes, creamed potatoes, green bean casserole, turkey gravy, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, macaroni and cheese, a tray with assorted peppers, olives, etc; a cheese board with crackers, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, banana pudding, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks. Yes, we had a large group of extended family.

Defenitly turkey it doesn't have to be a huge one just a small simple to cook one. I'm a big fan of cranberry sauce.(just look up a recipe.) maybe some potatoes can be mashed doesn't have to. Stuffing is popular. Pumpkin or apple pie. You can just buy a premade onein the store. And probably dinner rolls with butter.

Some people have their own traditions but usually it is a turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes or yams regular or candied, mash potatoes and gravy! Hope this helps!
