How can I get my singing voice better without taking lessons?

    :) I'v been teaching myself since i was six:) basically, warming up every morning, can help your range get further up and down... you can get tip on wiki answers, or ask.com. it really gave me a few pointers. get involved with a chior/band/ any place where you can practice singing. also, artists like Taylor swift, and billy ray cyrus are very talented country performers. try listening to their music, and attempt to 'immitate' their styles, if you practice techniques enough than u can develop ur own style. Practice singing into a recorder do it over and over but don't strain your voice and play back the recordings after averytime and really listen to what you sound like play around with different sound effects your voice can do and mimic other artists who inspire you do a variety of songs tho and music styles so your voice can become more versatile and just keep practicing everyday. Good luck it really does help drastically if you stick to it
